Greek Theater

   Most Greek theaters had about 15,000 people who watched the performance. Greek theaters often had plays and often people were let out of jail to watch them. There was at least one theater in each town. People had contests for plays to see who had the best one. There were different types of plays.  Tragedies are when a character suffers a problem. A comedy is when there is a happy ending.
